Quickie Update

This project has grown so fantastically, that it has become too time consuming for me to manage alone.

The fabulous gmmarton will now be coordinating the worsted weight blankets for our project.

I will continue to coordinate the preemie blankets, and keep our blogs up to date as best I can.

Please also help us welcome a new group member from Ravelry, hamham!

Sunday is for catching up

Hi Northeasters!

It is definitely my day to catch up on our blogs and make a dent in the ever-enlarging pile of UFOs in my knitting room. Too cold to go out!

We continue to make terrific progress with all of our blankets and have three new knitters in our group: kidpal51 (from KH), and katxena and sandycloset (from Ravelry). Welcome!
Several new preemie blankets, and some of our older blankets, still have open spots. So check out the list and let me know where you want to jump in! I hope to arrange a delivery of blankets to the Special Delivery Unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the coming weeks, so let's see how many preemie blankets we can have done by then! Happy New Year to everyone in our Northeast Knitting Family!

Thanks to everyone's great efforts, we'll have a nice batch of preemie blankets ready for our first delivery to the CHOP Special Delivery Unit very soon!
